My Story

My life's journey in aviation started over 45 years ago when my Dad started my flight training in gliders at age 13. This led to a career that included the military, two major US Airlines, a job in the federal government, teaching at a college for avionics and maintenance, teaching at the FAA academy, and managing large aircraft and repair organizations. My love for aviation and always wanting to know more led to a diverse career.

As of today, I am a commercial pilot with ratings from Glider to Boeing 737. I am also a certified Avionics Technician holding an FCC GROL and the NCATT AET certification. I am an FAA-certified mechanic for Airframe and Powerplant and have been an active IA (Inspection Authorized) for the last 23 years. However, my life's passion is sharing what I have learned with others. I am an Arizona State certificated Vocational Instructor and an ASTM NCATT certified Instructor.

I am married and have two children I am very proud of. I would like to spend my last years in aviation teaching all I have learned to as many people as possible. It would be great if teaching were my full-time job, so I am someday hoping to start another Avionics School to help create the badly needed technicians this industry will need in the years to come.
